Mission Statement

The Syrian American Cultural Council will work on building cultural bridges between the American Society, the Syrian American Community and the Syrian People through the following venues:

Cultural Exchanges

Artists, Musicians, Poets, Museum exhibits, Folk dancing and folk singers…holding exhibitions, tours and workshop in the United States and Syria.

Academic Exchanges

Visiting Academicians, Scholars, Historians, Linguistic Professors, and Scientists…holding symposiums, lectures, and courses in the United States and Syria.

Academic Accreditations

College students wanting to spend study periods at different Universities in the United States and Syria. Courses include studies in Languages, History, Religious and all Cultural aspects.

Facilitation Venues

Venues for students of American and Syrian American communities to study Arabic Language, Culture and History in a professional environment.

Cultural Web Site

Creating an internet site dedicated to Cultural, Artistic, Historical and Academic exchanges to promote understanding and cooperation between the American and the Syrian people.
